What is Coaching?

Coaching is the art of accompanying the client's dialogue focused on his/her ambitions, goals and objectives. Whether Life/Personal Coaching or Executive/Business Coaching, it is an interactive conversation between the coach and the client to generate shifts in the consciousness of the client leaving him/her client inspired and empowered to make positive life changes, identify and achieve short- and long-term objectives and goals.

Coaching is not a therapeutic, humanist or psychological approach. It is not about making people ‚feel better', but about achieving results. It is action oriented, solution oriented, future oriented. Nevertheless, going through the process of coaching can change your frame of reference (values, beliefs, way of thinking and feeling) in such a way that you do feel better, experiencing greater focus, clarity and purpose, eliminating stress and worry, increasing your confidence and power. As a result, you enhance the quality of your life and improve your performance in all areas of your life, business or career.

How does Coaching work?

A coaching cycle will equip your to explore new possibilities and to overcome blocks, to identify desired outcomes, to have balance in your life, to exercise your personal power in order to strategise and act to create a fulfilling and purposeful life.

After the initial evaluation and assessment session, you will elaborate a strategy and an action plan that can lead you to achieve your objectives and/or aspirations. In each meeting, you will choose the focus of conversation, while the coach listens and contributes observations and questions. This interaction creates clarity and moves the client into action. The results are a matter of your intentions, choices and actions, supported by the coach's efforts and application of the coaching process.

What does a Coach do?

A coach's single goal is to be of service to those who are ready and willing to realise their potential. A coach helps a client to focus, prioritise, be proactive, clarify and achieve. Coaches are held to be catalysts of positive change, bridging the gap between dreams and reality, assisting clients through personal and professional transitions, and highlighting the distinction between supporting a lifestyle and designing a life.

The coach will support you to focus and take the important steps needed to achive the outcomes you really want.  A coach will listen to you and help you identify and more effectively pursue your most important goals. The coach will challenge you and keep you focused, help you identify your strengths and blind spots, the resources you can utilise, master new skills and attain a higher level of sustainable energy more quickly and easily than you thought possible.
